General Information

Registration

You must register for the WFA using the online Registration Form. On this form, those interested should select all the activities they wish to take part in on the different days of the event. Most of the activities have limited places. For more information, see this edition's Programme.

The registration period runs from 21 March to 20 April.

After this date, it will only be possible to register in person on the event days, according to the number of places available.

Registration for the WFA entitles you to take part in all the scheduled activities, as long as the times do not coincide.

It costs €15 and is free but required for children up to the age of 12. Registration for activities is only confirmed after payment.

Before registering, check the Event Regulations.

Check-In and Secretariat

Before you participate in any activity, you must check in. The participants must go to the Secretariat to confirm their registration for the activities, receive their personaln identification, walker's kit or t-shirts, if they have purchased them.

An early check-in session is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

Participants who choose to check in on this day are dispensed from carrying out the mandatory procedures at the Secretariat on the days of the event. During the event, the Secretariat will be open at the Grupo Desportivo do Ameixial building, located behind the Primary School, according to the timetable below.

On the 25th (Friday), 26th (Saturday) and 27th (Sunday) you can check in for the morning walks between 07.30 and 08.30.

The secretariat officially closes at 8.30am, in order to guarantee the timely departure of the walks at 9am, and will only serve those who are already inside the pavilion.

After this time, anyone who has not checked in will not be able to take part in the morning walks.

Compliance with the established timetable and procedures is essential to ensure the smooth management and organisation of the event, helping to improve the experience of all participants and increase its overall quality, so we count on the cooperation of everyone involved.
